The passion and drive behind Fresh Beginnings is Barbara Freeman, with over 20 years’ experience in hotel, restaurant and education catering and a love of good food.

With some simple tools and improved understanding of ingredients, cooking on a budget through to beautiful menus, we can help you to cook well and eat better.

Vision :
Empower people to learn new skills in the kitchen by developing confidence through shared experiences and mutual encouragement.

Mission :
To cook, create and collaborate in the kitchen with clients in a safe and friendly environment.

Core values :
Teamwork, independence, and learning – to encourage all who participate to develop strong relationships whilst expanding their culinary abilities.

Independence :
we encourage learning of life skills through reading recipes, math skills, food knowledge and social interactions by empowering clients to take on responsibilities in the kitchen.

Learning :
Clients explore healthy new foods and learn ways to prepare and incorporate the new dishes into their daily eating habits.

Summary:
Cooking and eating together is a simple way of connecting with other people . It helps individuals, families, and communities to be healthier and more connected and in tune with the natural rhythm of life.
